From FEELING to TEE
My Real North grew out of a simple feeling: that we often feel more than we need to explain.
A direction. A recognition. A moment when something just lands and feels true.
That's where creation also begins. In things that arouse curiosity, joy or resonance and want to take shape. Sometimes it's a few words. Sometimes an image. Sometimes a motif where something familiar suddenly opens up a larger space.
It eventually became sweaters — something to wear with you in everyday life.
And then the garment itself needed to feel just as obvious. Comfort Colors 1717 became the perfect foundation: a garment-dyed t-shirt with weight, softness and character, which only gets more comfortable the more it is used.

My Real North is created by me, Annette.
I follow what arouses enthusiasm, curiosity and that clear feeling that something wants to happen — and let it find its form in words and images.
This is my way of creating something authentic, with room for both depth and playfulness, together with people who feel the joy of being themselves in their own way.
